महाराष्ट्र शासनाच्या वतीने २७ फेब्रुवारी हा दिवस कविश्रेष्ठ कुसुमाग्रज यांचा जन्मदिवस मराठी राजभाषा दिन म्हणून साजरा केला जातो. महाविद्यालयाच्या मराठी विभागाच्या वतीने दरवर्षी या निमित्ताने विविध कार्यक्रमांचे आयोजन करण्यात येते. यावर्षीचा कार्यक्रम सोमवार दिनांक २ मार्च २०२० रोजी आयोजित करण्यात आला होता. नाशिक येथे राहणारे मराठीतील सुप्रसिद्ध कवी आणि गझलकार श्री. संतोष वाटपाडे यांना या कार्यक्रमासाठी प्रमुख अतिथी म्हणून आमंत्रित करण्यात आले होते. मराठी ‘भाषा आणि आपण’ या विषयाच्या अनुषंगाने त्यांनी आपले मौलिक विचार याप्रसंगी मांडले. आपल्या स्वरचित कविता आणि गझल सादरीकरणाने त्यांनी उपस्थितांची मने जिंकली. या कार्यक्रमात महाविद्यालयाच्या विद्यार्थिनीनी देखील काव्यवाचन केले. त्यांना प्रमुख पाहुण्यांच्या हस्ते प्रमाणपत्र, पुस्तक आणि पुष्प देवून गौरविण्यात आले. कार्यक्रमाच्या अध्यक्षस्थानी महाविद्यालयाच्या उपप्राचार्या श्रीमती. साधना देशमुख या होत्या. प्रास्ताविक मराठी विभागप्रमुख प्रा. डॉ. विवेक खरे यांनी केले तर सूत्रसंचालन प्रा. डॉ. रत्नप्रभा पगारे यांनी व आभारप्रदर्शन प्रा. कल्पना पवार यांनी केले. याप्रसंगी महाविद्यालयाच्या उपप्राचार्या डॉ. कविता पाटील, डॉ. नीलम बोकील असेच अन्य प्राध्यापक वृंद उपस्थित होता.

Graduation Ceremony 2019-2020 on 11.2.2020

A study tour was organized during 29th to 31st Jan 2020 at Aurangabad City in which we visited 60th Maharashtra State Art Exhibition and also visited world-famous heritage sites Ajanta and Ellora Caves.

Smt. Usha Kiran Pishordiya started the workshop with the introduction of the concept of communication. She explained the importance of effective communication in every walk of life. She narrated various examples of effective communication. She described four communication skills namely, reading, writing, speaking and listening. If we acquire command over these skills we can be the effective communicator. She gave some exercises to the participants and asked them to solve. Participants were very enthusiastic. They were fully involved in the activity. Smt. Pishordiya read the correct answers and asked the participants to check.

Participants were very much satisfied as they came to know the basics of communication and also the importance of communication for a successful career. Male and female students were present from ten colleges of Gokhale Education Society.

A workshop of two days was organized by IQAC on ‘How to use Google classrooms’ on 1oth and 11th Jan. 2020. IQAC Coordinator Dr. Nikhila Bhagwat welcomed the participants, gave rationale of the programme and introduced the guests. Vice-Principal Smt. Sadhana Deshmukh felicitated the resource persons and declared the workshop open. A digital lamp was lit on this occasion. On first day Dr. Bhat and Mr. Alone conducted a demonstration session on How to download the free Classroom app and use Goggle Classrooms. Also they taught in detail about year wise and subject wise classroom creation. The theoretical explanation was done on that day. Whereas, on the second day participants were given hands on given training in the computer lab. The workshop was very interactive, enriching and interesting. All the teachers benefited from this workshop.
