Dept. of Food Science & Nutrition organized guest lecture on Anthropometric Measurement Assessment Interpretation & Calculation of Nutrient Requirement. Resource person gave detail information about various Anthropometric measurement techniques like height, weight, mid upper arm circumference used for assessing malnutrition in children from 0-5 years of age. She also explained about the presence of different degree of oedema in malnourished children & methods of assessing it as it is an important clinical symptom of malnutrition. She also presented actual case studies with the help of power point presentation which gave a good feedback regarding treatment given. The lecture was followed by question answer session.
